Mandala

In Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism, the mandala ("circle" in Sanskrit) is a diagram of the universe and a map of true reality used as a focus for meditation; sand mandalas, created and then ritually dismantled, symbolize the impermanence of all phenomena.
