Medicine Buddha (Bhaisajyaguru)
In Mahayana Buddhism, Bhaisajyaguru ("Master of Blue Healing Light") is the Buddha of Medicine who made twelve great vows to heal physical and mental suffering; he is typically depicted holding a jar of medicine nectar with lapis-blue skin and attended by the bodhisattvas of the sun and moon.
