Pythagorean Numerology
The Western tradition of numerology traces to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras of Samos (c. 570-495 BCE) and the Pythagoreans, who held that all reality could be expressed numerically and that a person's name and birth date could be reduced to a destiny number.
